“There’s this big parapet scene between me and Pascale Hutton, who plays Abby [Corigan, Will’s girlfriend], and it’s a real, kind of right out there, at the top of our lungs, emotional exchange. At the end of the day, the show’s director of photography, Gordon Verheul, walked over to me and said, ‘You know, after the first couple of takes, nobody really thought about the singing. It was like we were caught up in a regular scene and the singing was just kind of there."
