Old Navy has started selling t-shirts with messages "Love Proudly" and "Pride 2011" until June 30. Ten percent of the proceeds goes to support Dan Savage It Gets Better project. Although that's a good thing, Old Navy has only shipped the shirts to 27 stores and with no online sale. This has many feeling that this is all for marketing rather than for the good. A online petition in Texas to have the shirts in all 50 States has generated over 2,000 signatures.
We are happy that proceeds goes to help an amazing project, but next time we hope everyone will be able to snatch one up.
