While the whole country was following the Casey Anthony trial, another child murder trial was taking place. In Durham, North Carolina, Peter Lucas Moses, leader of a religious cult, stood trial for shooting 4 year old Jadon Higganbothan; who he claims had "gay behavior." He also shot Jadon's mother, wife of Peter Antoinetta Yvonne Mckoy, 28, because she wanted to leave the cult. Peter Lucas Moses is facing two counts of first degree murder.
This story breaks our hearts and we hope he gets put away for a really long time.
