A movie that is a getting a lot buzz within our community and in the mainstream is Pariah, which is a coming of age story about 17 year teenager coming to terms and embracing her identity as a Lesbian. The movie is written and directed by Dee Rees, and stars Adepero Oduye, and Kim Wayans, who is best known from the TV comedy series In Loving Color, gets serious and delivers a great performance as her mom.
