On November 7th, Microsoft built a six-story cell phone in Herald Square here in New York City. To attract busy New Yorker's to their release of Windows Phone 7.5 OS "Mango". Microsoft pulled out all the stops by offering free food, music, and performances.
In a press release, Andy Lee's, President of the Windows Phone division at 'MS', stated "Window Phones will help change the way people look at smartphones. Other phones have you wade through a slew of apps, while we bubble up all things that are important -- centered around the people that matter to you most."
Microsoft is planning to roll out events in other cities across the countries including Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle.
