Sean Maher, who has appeared on the recently cancelled NBC show "The Playboy Club" and sci-fi fans might remember him from Joss Whedon series "Firefly" and the film "Serenity" has come out the closet.
In an article with our friends at dot429.com, Sean admitted that he feared not only coming out as gay, but also a gay parent would prevent him from "landing leading male roles and taint people's perception of him should he play a straight character.
